LAMILUX Modular Glass Skylight MS78 

The LAMILUX Modular Glass Skylight MS78 combines the advantages of prefabricated skylights with the flexibility of a large-area glass roof system. Module sizes of up to 130 Ă— 300 cm create generous, glazed surfaces and bring abundant natural daylight into the building.

Fixed elements and ventilation vents share a uniform appearance, while concealed drives preserve the clean interior design. The number and position of the opening vents can be freely configured—even directly next to one another—creating maximum ventilation areas and allowing the fresh-air supply to be tailored to the building’s needs. 

Installed at inclinations between 5° and 30°, the level transition between the glazing and frame supports efficient water drainage and helps prevent dirty edges. Designed for exceptionally fast and straightforward installation, the highly prefabricated modules can be mounted entirely from the roof side and connected directly to load-bearing surfaces made of concrete, steel or wood. This significantly speeds up the workflow and simplifies the overall construction process. 

Double or triple glazing and optional sun and glare protection create a comfortable indoor environment and make the system a versatile solution for individual architectural concepts. 

The LAMILUX Modular Glass Skylight MS78 is available in one colour combination: RAL 7016 (Anthracite Grey) externally and RAL 9016 (Traffic White) internally.

Easy installation

Designed for fast, straightforward installation

The LAMILUX Modular Glass Skylight MS78 is designed to make installation simple and efficient. Installation always progresses from left to right, following the V-groove coupling system. The modules are also packed in this order, ensuring a smooth workflow on site.

As the roof upstand is waterproofed before the modules are installed, final assembly can be completed in a single day. A team of two can typically install six modules in approximately half a day.

Innovative load converters allow the MS78 to be installed directly onto robust concrete, timber or steel substrates without additional profiles. The system creates a stable, secure connection while accommodating tolerances in the supporting structure. This saves installation time and costs while offering greater flexibility in the choice of substrate.

Blinds when needed 

Internal roller blinds

The LAMILUX Modular Glass Skylight MS78 can be fitted with an optional internal roller blind for enhanced privacy, solar shading and glare protection. Its sleek, discreet design blends seamlessly into the skylight.

Guided by slim wires, the blind leaves the glazed area largely unobstructed when fully retracted, allowing natural light to enter. When lowered, it helps reduce solar heat gain and glare from direct sunlight, creating a more comfortable indoor environment.
