Techcomlight at the Built Environment Climate Summit 2026 | Sustainable Daylighting

Techcomlight to Exhibit at the Built Environment Climate Summit 2026 in the Netherlands

Techcomlight is proud to announce its participation as both a partner and exhibitor at the Built Environment Climate Summit 2026, taking place on 4 and 5 November 2026 at Jaarbeurs Utrecht, the Netherlands.

The Built Environment Climate Summit is one of the Netherlands' leading events dedicated to accelerating the sustainability of the built environment. More than 3,000 professionals from government, housing associations, construction companies, architects, developers, engineers, investors and sustainability organisations come together to share knowledge, develop partnerships and present innovative solutions for the buildings and infrastructure of tomorrow.

Sustainable daylighting solutions for energy-efficient buildings

At Techcomlight, we believe that natural daylight should play a central role in sustainable building design.

Our Powerdaylight® daylight tube systems, designed and manufactured in the Netherlands, transport natural daylight deep into buildings where traditional windows or roof windows are not practical. This enables architects and building professionals to reduce the need for artificial lighting while creating healthier and more comfortable indoor environments.

Whether the project involves new construction, refurbishment, industrial buildings, schools, offices, healthcare facilities or residential developments, Powerdaylight® provides an efficient and sustainable daylighting solution.

Supporting the transition towards low-carbon buildings

The built environment is responsible for a substantial share of global energy consumption and carbon emissions. Improving daylight availability is one of the practical ways to reduce electricity demand for lighting while enhancing occupant wellbeing.

During the Built Environment Climate Summit, visitors can discover how Techcomlight helps projects achieve:

  • Reduced dependence on artificial lighting
  • Lower operational energy consumption
  • Reduced COâ‚‚ emissions
  • Healthier indoor environments with natural daylight
  • Sustainable renovation solutions where additional windows are not possible
  • Bespoke daylighting systems for both new-build and refurbishment projects

Designed and manufactured in the Netherlands

Powerdaylight® daylight tube systems are designed, assembled and manufactured in the Netherlands.

In addition to producing sustainable daylighting solutions, Techcomlight continuously works to reduce its own environmental impact. The company has calculated both its Corporate Carbon Footprint (Scopes 1, 2 and 3) and the Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) of the Powerdaylight® daylight tube system, demonstrating its commitment to transparency and continuous improvement.

Combined with increasing use of recycled materials and local production, this contributes to a more sustainable supply chain and lower environmental impact.
